20 Data Science Leaders and Influences You Must Follow

With the Data Science industry continually evolving, there can be a lot to keep up with. LinkedIn articles, podcasts, and Twitter are a great source of information that is easily digestible. We have compiled a list of people to help you eliminate unnecessary noise while staying connected to the Data Science community. The people listed promote learning and the sharing of knowledge by sharing their insights through LinkedIn, blog posts, podcasts, and other media.

Listed alphabetically, here are the top 20 data science Influencers in 2020:

1. Angela Shen-Hsieh

The Director of Innovation at Telefonica uses machine learning and AI to take complex data, find value, and develop new business lines. She also was previously the Program Director of Strategy and Offering Management at IBM Watson, where she worked on platforms for building cognitive AI and machine learning-based solutions for businesses.

2. Bernard Marr

Is a best-selling author and Founder/ CEO of Bernard Marr & Co. where he provides consulting, training, speaking, and writing services in a variety of areas. He is a major influencer in the big data analytics space and regularly writes a column for Forbes.

3. Charles Givre:

Charles is a Cybersecurity Data Scientist at JPMorgan Chase & Co, who is passionate about solving complex business problems with data-driven decisions. He also speaks at conferences, writes blog posts, and is a chair member of The Apache Software Foundation.
